Do you truely believe the government is at war with her citizens? If so, having a well armed citizen base is the only thing that would keep the government in check. Without guns or weapons are voise is useless. The (SS), as you call them, will simply boll us over.

These are not advanced hiking tips, this is a packlist (sorry Chris). For one thing, 'advanced' hikers don't need to be told that a shirt keeps your upper body warm.What would have been more interesting i.m.o. is which trade-offs you make in choosing your gear for a particular type of trip (Do you want your hard shell to come with a thermal layer or do you have a separate garment?) and which items you keep on-hand as opposed to the deeper and harder to reach places in your outfit.

So then the question is ' Why was it so important for the US to wage war in the Iraq over Weapons of Mass destruction ( using the fear they may use them) but not these countries ( who pose a fear they may use them)???I think, it is a capalist venture and that is the pure motivation. Finance the body & strip away the rights of its citizens = Divine Right of Kings.

Isn't the Office of Homeland Security the modern name for Hitler's SS ( Storm Troopers)??Isn't it their job " To Know All" and hasn't this been tried in the past by every Regeim. You'll also notice we are so concerned that Iran & Japan are testing Nuclear weapons but we have very little to gain in those lands.

I must say upfront " I am not in favor of citizens owning firearms period." However, I am in favor of citizens losing liberties a lot less. I do not feel any government has the power to take from its citizens or purportrate a war on its own citizens " as we are seeing across America today by our own government"

Apology accepted but sometimes you nail it I am a bubble off I am not typical I live dirffernt from most I love differnt, Hate presumpteousness. Federalism is what is destroying the USA at the local level we can get it done. We never want to see another NAZI problem and the group we have in there now act like they are untouchable spreading propaganda stealing by way of rising prices. I want to ban both parties libertarian is the way to solve Americas problems. Thanks whoof whoof.

I apologise for point 5, I shouldn't have added an insult. I vehemently oppose the death penalty exept for leaders of state that engage in warfare for cynical reasons, but being able to vehemently oppose whilst remaining civil is a virtue that I let slip. People are always going to take drugs and many will succumb. Wise policy should be based on minimising the harm drugs do to individuals and society as hole. The 'war on drugs' is as misconceived and dangerous as the 'war on terror'.
