Because in the years where Mona Lisa was living in it was modish to have none ^^The women shaved them off because they thought it looks good.

wow i could probably never do something like that. i would most likely at the very end i would get so frusterated that i would draw a whole lot of scribblies on it!

Hate to say it, but if someone was attempting this, even a profresional would have made atleast 1 mistake somewhere in between. Don't yell at me but this is over erasing it.
