lol all the contentions bullshit aside, this will be fun to show to my jam band guitar player, who for years has blown off learning anything harder than "Crossroads"... like "geez, dude, it's a bunch of KIDS playing that tune, and you been playing longer than they've been alive, what's the PROBLEM???Good job, kids!!!

I sadly have to agree...

They play with more conviction than the newer lineups of king crimson. I like it, powerful.

You don't know how much I _LOVE_ Red. Absolutely amazing.

Nice opportunity for kids to learn about ensemble playing

I don't know which rhythm section was better;Wetton/BrufordOrLevin/BrufordThe former came up with Red and the latter came up with Discipline. Both have among the best rhythms in rock.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's just passion. No harm done.
Timbre4Gear (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Dude...You're passionate and we're likely on the same page. It's great fun and charitable on John's part, no question. The song CHOICE is brilliant and this performance is better the 2nd and third time I watched it. I always want to see my heroes in best possible context and over-reacted to your usage of BRILLIANT for this particular clip. The middle part is difficult to memorize but I will go back to work on it for you. Wetton with Hackett in Japan now that's brilliant! |
