I never said its perfect! and its far from being even "close" to good. not necessarily true. If the Captain or a manned machine gunner feels the ship and its crew is in immediate danger than they can open up. All depends on the situation and what the threat level is believed to be.

They were in International Waters, Iranians claim their waters, who really knows. Either way its usually not a smart idea to drive little speed boats up to heavily armed Warships no matter where you are. u do realize that america doesnt have all of their soldiers in iraq and all of their weapons and even then the US military doesnt make a dent in the US population and if you look at statistics look at how many americans own guns :) dont even think about bringing the war or battle to our soil because that is when americans unite and set aside their differences and have one common enemy and one common goal..
