I believe it was Jimi Hendricx who made the comment about Billy being the best electric guitar player alive. Not completly sure though.

Well, yeah that's a fact bro :)... The duckwalk :) - By the way now I do like Angus, been hearing with no egos on the table his music on AC/DC - The deal is, to me he has Kossof's influence... I don't recall where I read it, but I'm sure I read it that he mentioned Kossoff as influence... AnywayThose will always rock, so we have to salute 'em :) :D - Angus, Paul, Leslie - By the way, I didn't know he recorded a song with ozzy! XD

He comes from Chuck Berry. Kossoff was great but to call him an influence of Angus' is wrong. I've read every article or interview with Angus and no mention of Kossoff, ever. Chuck is everywhere in his playing. Malcolm is Dave Davies of the Kinks. Leslie West is the tone monster of all time.Maybe not the best pure player but his sound remains the nastiest ever. Honourable mention to early Billy Gibbons, whom Clapton once said was the best electric guitar player alive.

I agree. The Seattle grunge isn't really the blues, but it went back to the basics to find its sound. That is what Clapton, Hendrix, Beck and Page did in the late 60's.
