It's true, the games still don't work in Linux, is still not ready for the gamers. Anyway, I like Ubuntu.

WoW, CoD, many others, I'm not an extreme gamer, but I've yet to find a game that doesn't work as well in Linux (under wine) as windows. Wine is evolving extremely fast, as is everything Linux. I remember a year ago when I first tried it, getting drivers to work was very difficult. Now almost everything works plug and play in Linux, and the few things that don't are one click install. If you haven't tried Linux recently, give it another go. It really has evolved in the one year I've used it

why comparing these 2, thats like comparing yugo (windows) to mercedes-benz (linux) ...even my grandmother knows what is better...my voice comes to linux with no doubt

Okay, you go ahead and to that and tell me how many games you can get to even work, let alone as well as Windows.

vista over xp come on really. I had vista from day one and nothing works right on it. IE doesn't even work, it did when I first got it that was until I downloaded the updates for it. As you know there are a lot of program that will not work, because they use ie as a back bone. I'm a Fire Fox user, and I think ie is crap and as long as windows uses ie as it's back bone it will always suck.

Linux just a rip-off from vista and MAC with some twists here and there ... VISTA OVER XP ANY DAY but I got to say: LOL at the end

Ok is true, Linux is an overall better operating system. It is very stable unlike Windows, and there is no defragging needed neither are registry edits. But the software support is lower than in windows. Anyway I prefer Ubuntu
