There's a nice exploit at the end if you stand slightly off center. Then you can just shoot without dodging the skulls and it even works on hard difficulty. (The skulls miss both you and the little shooting guys, absurd as it may look. A similar technique is also useful on the final boss to dodge the balls.)

The best shooter game along side The Guardian legend in my book I had this on Sega genesis and I don't know what the hell happen to it but i was never able to find it again.

Toshiaki Sakoda composed the music for Solid Runner, a Sci-Fi RPG released on the SNES in 1997 in Japan only, Treasure Hunter G, a RPG for the SNES in 1996 which is also another Japan only release. After he left Compile, he worked at STING Co. Ltd. for a few years. I do not know if he still works there now.

I love this game. I really can't believe compile didn't keep making newer versions of this game related to this one. This version is by far the best at least in my opinion it is.. |
