who ever made that vid was a homo he tortured that hamster,they tend to put all food in front of them into their cheeks and that that hurts them cuz it streches their cheeks

Hamster's have extra sacs or pouches behind their jaw bone that they use to store food. So no, he wasn't swallowing, he was stuffing and storing for later. LOL

I didn't know hamsters did that. Or _could_ do that! Seems they are amazing creatures.But just to be clear - it doesn't swallow the carrot, it just puts them in it's cheeks? Sort of like a .. lunch bag, or something?Sigh seems it will be a while before we start taking etiquette lessons from our little furry friends..But I can't wrap my head around?! He doesn't swallow at all, ir just all goes into his cheeks, or what? I don't understand, why??Hope someone can answer.Regards,J
