I agree that it's a very strange song but it was written before Charles Manson committed the murders and I try not to think about it much considering it ruins the song if all you can think about is that particular fact.

jrlaxer, Don't just tell people not to post "random crap" here without knowing the facts.Ever hear of Charles Manson? (Google him and Helter Skelter and educate yourself.) The song IS a little scary when you know how heavily influenced Charles Manson was by the Beatles. So influenced, that as a tribute to the Beatles, his "Family" wrote the words "Helter Skelter" in BLOOD on the refrigerator at the LaBianca home after commiting murder. Yes, it's a little scary.
