I wouldn't want to use an innefficient halogen bulb flashlight that produces so much heat that it burns things...including itself. The battery springs melt because WL was too cheap to use tungsten for the contacts.

okay, this is cool and all, but is not making me want to buy the torch... the heat is just wasted energy, that could be used for a more efficient, brighter bulb
