Kyle Hebert started sounding really fitting in episode 7, and every scene since then has been really good.His Giga Drill Break(er) is bomb, too.

The only real problem with the English dub was Kamina, but in a short amount of time Kamina's voice actor improves a lot. The dub is just as good as the Japanese version in my book, whenever people hate on dubs I just groan and sigh.

Yeah, I was hoping that they could do some original work, though, I suppose that since the movie's over...Ah, well, though. At least it'll be there in a convenient one-giant-pill-that-has-EVERYTHING format. (You have to admit, those are pretty damn convenient.)

what are you even talking about? if you read the interview. they enjoyed making the Gurren Lagann dub. it was fun, i support the dub. i also support the sub. i bought all three sub DVD's what bandai released and im planning to do the same with Gurren Lagann's dub. No one gives dubs a chance these days and judges it off one episode. =/ Gurren Lagann dub is good. but kamina could of had a deeper voice. but that doesnt bother me, Kamina is as kick ass as he always was.

First off, not all dubbs are bad. There have been several to be released that have excellent dubs (i.e. Cowboy Bebop), but dubbing companies do need to get their act together. They need to start getting newer and fresher VA talent. Most English speaking talent is in their late 30's. It's, in part, a lack of pride on their part. The dubbers just want to make money, they could care less about the actual anime.And yes, the Gurren Lagann Tengen Toppa dub is horrible.
