Christianity, under the new covenant does not preach violence, Jesus said to live by the sword is to die by the sword. There are references to violence in the old testament, don't get me wrong, and many Christians waged war in the name of God- Crusades, what happened to the natives of America, all those things are despicable, but they are the actions of men, men who are subject to their own interpretations of scripture, had they read it correctly, they would have loved their neighbors.

Christians in Ottoman sultanate did NOT suffer four centuries. After capturing Constantinople, Sultan Muhammad did not allow Muslims to move their, because he did not want them to feel occupied. Please read Bjerkness on Armenian genocide. No need to curse, but you got to read Bjerknes; then make up your mind.Problems started with the Young Turk movement, an external entity, not a Turkish one.

"Agnostics and atheists believe there is no religion of peace." What the thousands of priests, monks, leymen tortured and sent to the gulags by the atheist forces simply because they had faith in God? What about the thousands of Greeks and Serbs who suffered four centuries long under Turkish occupation and could not practice their faith simply because they were Christians? If there is no religion of peace, then what about the monks of Mount Athos? What about even the Buddhist monks?...

yep that is basic history. but muslims deny reality. they even teach lying to protect islam they call it taqiya. islam calls the kafir world 'dar al harb' which means 'world of war" islam teaches war. Christ taught peace and forgiveness. islam is about revenge |
