Id much rather listen to something that shows talent without a real underlying meaning to it, than something purely based on how evil someone is and how fancy they look in their blood and facepaint.

Fair enough if people want to throw the whole "metal is a lifestyle" card in front of me....I admit I dont listen to metal to feel empowered or to feel better about myself - thats not what im interested in, i have a perfectly normal well balanced life and dont need some guy to flame religion and a ball of rage to make myself feel better.

When i listen to music it is to appreciate it or be in awe of something I know I cant personally do. Why be impressed by something that I dont feel shows true musical potential? |
