Sure sounds to me like Marc Terenzi is covering Chris Cornell's version...without giving him credit (at least on wikipedia and here). At least David Cook gave Cornell credit for the version.

Grungeera, obviously you came late.Every contestant was told to choose a song that was released on the year he was born.David Cook was born in 1983 and he chose Chris Cornell's version of Billie Jean . The rest is history.He rocked the stage with his voice and ran away with applause from the judges, the audience and also from Chris Cornell. Now do you understand?
