The first time I heard this I was a kid as I watched Vaughn Monroe sing it on the Kraft Music Hall. It was a simpler time but the quality of his voice and how it so matched the song made it memorable. Thanks for posting. Great song but more a great tribute.

Great song and a beautiful tribute.This is the first time I hear this version and I like it very much. Previously I'd heard Johnny Cash's version which I also like a lot. Curious to hear your thoughts on the Cash-version.
