maybe in the heavyweight division using weight training is more useful but the lighter you go in the weight division the less weight training you need... as far as tyson's weight as a disadvantage to floyds weight ya true tysons gonna be a lot slower but when i gave my opinion earlier about who i thought would win i chose to leave their weight differences out of it and focus more on who i thought had more skills versus weaknesses which would make mayweather the winner in my eyes

mayweather's used weights to work his neck muscles to be quick when it comes to snapping his head back and away from punches ive also seen him use very small 3 or 5 pound weights in the gym when throwing combinations which helps his hand speed but what im talking bout is the bigger weights in the 24/7 series it shows hatton doing a shoulder wrkout using 20 or 25 pound weights true i admit he would have been outclassed anyways most boxing trainers i kno of choose to stay away from big weights

Actually that's not entirely true Bos, all fighters use weight training to some degree including Floyd...The muscle bound myth isn't true..Hatton just lacked talent altogether so it didn't matter what he did to try to get an edge. What I'm talking about, is the weight difference between Floyd and Tyson would make him naturally slower than Mayweather.Tyson's reaction time would be slower because of this. And to critics who say Tyson's fast himself..Yes he is, compared to other heavy weights

Klitschko brother have been World Champion for almost 10yrs. in 1999 Lewis and Klitschko had 1 belt and Holyifled had 2belts. Lewis fought Holyfield but not Klitschko in 1999 to unify all belts. Finally Lewis fought Klitschko in 2003I can say for 100%, if Klitschko was a white american. Then he would have be advertised as the 2nd coming of jesus Christ. The usa media would have lied that Klitschko arrived from the big bang experiment.

The white american devils will never accept the Klitschko brothers. Both brother have the stringets ko ratio in history for a undisputed/world championVitali has the best chin in history, he never tasted the Canvas. Vitali Klitschko was also a world Champion (proffessional)Kickboxer at age20.Wladimir Klitschko is the youngest ever gold medalist(olympic) of all times in the super-heavyweight division. Both brother have PHD. One brother is running for Mayor of Kiev.

ya thats true thats y quick fighters such as floyd dnt spend time in the gym lifting weights give it that the extra muscle would slow them down which at times makes me wonder y in the hell was ricky hatton lifting weights when preparing to fight his greatest and quickest opponent floyd...he already had a disadvantage in reach than he goes and compunds the problem by adding muscle which made him slower

Floyd by TKO or unanimous decision..or early stoppage due to hurt hands on Tyson's head...My TKO analogy is based on Tyson giving up somewhere in the 9th or 10th from being frustrated, out boxed and NEVER getting a glove on May.

I summed it up basically to the laws of physics which is; Bigger objects require more energy to move and stop, more energy to move means more energy expended. The more energy expended the more fatigued the subject will become in comparison to a less energy requiring mass.Floyd's 140-147 pd to Tyson's 220 would equate to roughly 100 more pd he(Tyson) would have to slush around to out maneuver mayweather. Almost like a bull chasing a hare. |
