I knew people would have more fun with the box the Wii came in, then with the Wii itself, but I didn't think they'd take it this far. XD

That's what I suspected. I don't actually have a Wii, but having played one I assumed that was the case. That's pretty damn impressive.

Basically, vibrations from the box go to the remote.If you want to see it visually get the Wii remote cusor onscreen on the Wii menu with a similar setup (remember it can't be hard like stone or glass)...you'll notice the cursor shake slightly proving the Wii can dectect the movements.
