That is very ignorant of you, chetdenim. First of all, Bad Day was written before End of the World, it just wasn't released until after it. Secondly, everyone respects the Stones for what they have done in the past, not what they are doing today. REM still has time to create great music, just accept it.

The Stones also have a broad range of fans you idiot. s for bad day, yeah they basically ripped off one of their own songs for that one. Check out the stones song Streets Of Love, hich charted a couple of years ago, great song and better than REM's recent stuff.Dont get me wrong, I like R.E.M but at the end of the day they will not be as revered as the Stones.
