Anyway.. she doesn't have to be ripping up his car to be vengeful. Listen to the words.. he cheats on her, and simply asks if she can forgive him.. well she can't, and she wont... hence where the song comes in... She singing about how she wont lower her standards.. you cheat on her, it's your loss.

"Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwear? YES!! A smile is totally appropriate! This song? NO!! Carrie is actually doing something to actually get back at him? (Bashing his car)How is Rebecca doing that in this song? What is the smiling all about? How is she "getting back at him" at all?? Listen to the words! She is hurting and angry!! There is no witt. She is in pain talking about how she can't forgive him. If i was him once i thought that psychotic smile i'd be like "peace lady"!

Btw, you can't insult the video, which I'm sure she helped to make (not to mention she chose how to act in it herself) without insulting the artist herself. To compliment her song writing, and then WRONGLY insult the way she chose to express the song (key point being he was INCORRECTLY insulting her acting) is a contradiction. My point is, she knows a hell of a lot more of the meaning of her own song than either of you, and you can't say she's "doing it wrong".

I'll say write this for the last time: Her smile is meant to show him what he is missing now, as well as other resaons, but primarily to demonstrate how much she's moved on from an idiot like him. Btw, Aweful = Awful, and I wont even begin to correct the mistakes in cipdaddy's ignorant reply. Cip: read both of my comments before you decide to comment on the second one... how does that sound? Also, try proofreading a bit, especially before commenting on someone else's intelligence.

Second of all, the meaning I meant to portray with the word "comeback" was not that she was getting back together, but that she was getting "back at him" for how he hurt her. Thirdly, she is by no means my favourite artist, and I am giving a relatively objective opinion of the video, and trying to correct your misinterpretations, of both my comments and the video. Also, there is a DIFFERENCE between something like concrete angel and this, because the smile in this does, indeed, MAKE SENSE

"Witty comeback of a bad relationship"? Did u even listen to the song? In no way did she say 'We're finally back together after wut u did". Its amazing the level of delusion that fans will go to in order to "save" thier favorite artist from a little constructive critisism. BTW, ur "B" makes no sense. You should NOT be smiling when singing a song like THIS or "Concrete Angel" or anything else where ur singing bout somethin so serious and want an appropriate audience. Oh and her acting is AWEFUL!!
