In the same tone there are loads of white musicians not getting signed up due to the shit factor and other manufactured processes. Northern soul is a white/black movement, the same as ska music. it is a dual process influenced by both cultures.

You like a song, you sing along. if that song is not within your race or culture should you not be singing it?
