What makes a great singer is the talent, of course, but also the connection between artist and audience. Someone can sing all the high notes they want, but if there's no connection, there's no support or love from fans. Now, I can honestly say that both are extremely talented, different and appeal to different people. PS - Both women are beautiful, but no matter who you are, where you come from, or even what you sound like, the commercialized beauty will fade in due time.

What's the point in comparing Fantasia and Leona? The fact is that there is no point! It's only opinion. But, what gets on my nerves is when people want to talk about their favorites on other people's videos. What's the point when it will most likely be marked as spam by fans. And believe it or not, I like Leona. But, I felt Fantasia's version more. I'm tired of people constantly talking about Leona's range. Range isn't the only thing that makes a great singer.

well, nothing is perfect...to th visual attacks agree 100% , she is an atractive woman, and whomever can't see that... go to hell.as to vocal..and "Soul"... if that's the way she felt the song, there is nothing to add, but in my personal oppinion, it was far off from what Gershwin had intended...in this case, i would stick with clussics...Ella Fidzherald.
